Sounds really fantastic. Never heard this album before. You can hear a lot of the ideas that she finally put into a masterwork years later. Great Album in every way.

The pressing and mastering is great. For me at least, at the end of tomorrow never came, it seems the machine that presses the records did not press hard enough into the vinyl and there’s a single groove that did not get pressed and so it loops until I push it over the gap.

On the positive: The packaging is thick, high quality and beautiful to look at. The discs are heavy and flat. The instrumentals are deep and rich sounding, much more dynamic than they sound on streaming services. On the not-so-positive: My discs were dirty and covered in debris right out of the packaging, and are pretty crackly sounding. "Heroin" has a huge paper scuff with little flecks of paper embedded into the grooves that cause loud pops when played over. Hopefully the crackles diminish after a while…
The songs sound like they were mastered a bit too hot in places, meaning tracks like “Lust For Life” have lots of unpleasant sibilance. Overall, disappointed that I got a not-too-great copy.

Perfect sounding heavy weight pressing. Only issue is that mine came defective, there’s a skip I can’t get rid of on “13 Beaches” which is a shame. This black pressing is getting harder to find for a decent price. Got mine in 2020 for $20 on amazon. Lol

I guess I will reiterate what everyone has already said, sounds fantastic. I think one of the best sounding Lana records in my collection (I own every album) I would say this might even be the best, along with Honeymoon, My 2LP Born to Die and Ultraviolence. The records are heavy and packing is sturdy and thick. Bass stands out on this a lot. Glad to have this album! Hope she represses it so more people could get a copy

The sound is clear, but not too bright. Good depth. Lana is in fine voice and the reverb is not too overdone. As a classical musician/officianado type, i fully recommend this as a 'classic Lana' starting point. 13 Beaches is particularly well done, makes a sweet but sombre impression. No sibilance on this copy.

Such a great release! The packaging and vinyl are very nice quality, the vinyl are heavyweight and sound so beautiful and full! I love the theme of this album as well, and I think Lana perfectly balanced Americana with her roots in hip hop. Definitely pick this up if you’re a fan of this album.
