- Edited 10 months agoWell I'm at another entry level of collecting Dobie, tried more than a decade ago & gave away what I gave up--so this is about everything he'd recorded, though a few '45's were done at Capitol and another couple small labels of which those works aren't in here, but worth getting... Though issued that long ago has sadly long-gone out of print leaving just these few copies (sans the orig. 12x12 covers for the dimensions) at Marketplace to choose the best from...
P.S. (edit) "Rose" the last track from LOVING ARMS originally done by Paul Williams & recorded on his A&M LIFE GOES ON (& the version of which I much prefer) is missing, the LOVING ARMS disc ends with "Hey Dixie", the first track which is the title of Dobie's album which followed; wonder why... -- Dave
