Show All 23 Reviews- Does not disappoint. Vinyl is dead silent and tonal balance is perfect. For $22? This has got to be the best-value vinyl purchase imaginable. Drop the lights, fire up the lava lamp, spark a jay, and enjoy!
The value of these Hendrix reissues is comparable to the beatles mono reissues when they were first released in 2014: High quality all analog mastering on quiet 180g vinyl, rice paper inner sleeves, a very nice quality reproduction sleeve and a booklet all for around $23 give or take a few dollars. I hope they keep these in print for as long the metal work isn’t worn out. Definitely buy this whole reissue series, especially the main studio albums.- Is this the same release that's being sold on Amazon right now, or is that listing different from this one? I'm not sure, and I want to specifically get this release.
- QRP clean crisp dynamic drums & bass is plentiful vocals are accurate Jimi Hendrix Guitar is incredibly live in it reverberating ring to higher notes.
WatchTower is just incredibly ear catching ...
The Stratocaster on Voodoo Child is the best recording I have heard to date crystal clear clean dynamic mind blowing tbh.
If you purchase this album if your a Hendrix fan this will be your go to! - I have the same sticker as Mr.Jukt...
Top quality with Quality Record Pressings and their anti-static sleeves, at a price that is unbeatable against the inflation of too many other publications. I highly recommend it. 
Can confirm, these positive reviews are not hyperbole. This release is amazing. Cost me $22 and includes nice sturdy gatefold outer sleeve, archival inner sleeves, 2x LP 180 gram records mastered from og analog tapes, and 8 page full color booklet w liner notes and pics. The pressing itself is dead quiet, well mixed and preserved in top notch quality. Sounds great.
this is one of the best sounding records in my collection, if not the best. the mastering really makes this album shine, and the quality control is great, both records were very flat and had no surface noise. also i was pleasantly surprised that it came in a tip-on jacket and had a booklet. this might be the best deal for a record in the past decade, i’ve never gotten a pressing or packaging this nice for $21, let alone a 2lp album on 180g. pick this up immediately if ur a hendrix fan.
This is one of the best pressings I’ve ever heard, so much depth and layering with his guitar work. I can’t believe how cheap it is. Get it now before it goes up when they stop pressing it.
So much depth to this pressing and incredibly detailed. 1983 really shines on this one.- Edited 11 months agoClean pressing with a very warm and dynamic/full-sounding reproduction of the album's very detailed/layered sound mix. There's some inherent fuzziness to Jimi's guitar tone due to the standard of pedals he used on it and the recording style of the day wasn't as bass-heavy as modern ears might expect. However, this is a record worthy of the master and his fans - play it LOUD, it does not disappoint!
