I mean Verocai is fuckin awesome but this is one of those records that's only Brazilian, Verocai could be American in some ways whereas this, this, this is Brazilian through and through. Where do you go from here? This is up there with some of the best music ever made. Geek Points, the reason why Moraes sounds so nasally is that he had the flu at the time of recording and it was only recorded in a few days. There's not many records from Brazil who sit shoulder to shoulder with this, maybe Construcao, maybe Esquina, maybe Esmeralda? Not many...

30+ legitimate editions, with several copies of most of them still available, and people are still trying to get 40-200 euros.
