Why on earth was this pressed on a single LP? Very narrow soundstage and almost no bass presence or separation, resulting in a listening experience that isn't particularly immersive. Side 2 sounds better than side 1. I don't have any QT issues on my copy. This desperately needs a 2LP 45RPM release.

Narrow soundstage due to length of running time and being compressed to buggery!! Lacking low end as others have suggested already and requires a decent volume dial adjustment to get any meat and potatoes out of this pressing. Should have been a 45RPM 2 LP release like VS. My ten cents worth anyway!!

Without a doubt the worst record I have. The noise is so much that it becomes more audible than the music itself. It's impossible to listen to this record.

Modern represses seem to be hit or miss. I just broke this out and gave it a spin. This trend of using glossy printed inner sleeves is something I hate. Static causes the record to stick to it and the records invariably come fresh out of the sleeve with scuffs, if not scratches. I’m very very careful to separate the sleeve edges and still it happens. This record is not different. It has scuffs. Quite a few. Fearing the worst, I gave it a brush down with a carbon brush and then a spray and wipe with record cleaner, before playing it. It did have some crackle and hiss, which was not unexpected when seeing it. However it played pretty well!. No warping, no skips, no jumps, fairly warm sound, nice punchy lows. I run pretty entry-fi gear but have decent pressings, both OG and reissues and this definitely is far from the worst modern reissue I’ve heard. I’m certain that it’ll get better when it’s run through a deep clean. I also wonder whether a lot of people don’t realise that new records actually benefit significantly from a deep clean. Oh well, YMMV

My copy came perfect. Flat. No noise. No crackle. Recording is good. Excellent album. Becoming one of my favorite bands.

I think its not as bad as everyone says, but with the poor quality feel of this vinyl I understand that its hit or miss when you order one. Mine came a bit warped and with kinda high surface noise, but otherwise energetic and enjoyable to listen to. It was worth the 18€ I spent at my local record store.

Every play it crackles and hisses more and more. This is unbearable. The only reason I haven't burned this in a fire is because my CD player situation in my room is compromised. I have the CD already. I can't even get the redux because those pressings suck too. JUST RELEASE THIS ON 45'S LIKE VS. IT'S ALL THE FANS ASK FOR. This is too crammed for all the quality control neglect Epic or SM or whoever does. They deserve no money for this crap. You know, even Pearl Jam used to stand up for vinyl pressings of their music. Nowadays they aren't involved and don't care enough about this stuff. Not like they could do anything about it anyway, not their fault. But seriously, stay away from this pressing AT ALL COSTS. Disgraces like this really make me sad. These newer PJ reissues are so sad. I wish I'd known before I bought this. It's unironically worth like 5 cents sealed.

Pros: My copy is centered. EDIT: It is not.

                That's it, thank you.

My copy looks, plays and sounds like crap. Hairlines, surface marks, non-fills, off-center. Plays with significant surface noise and reoccurring distortion. Avoid at all cost.

I agree with ParadaStudios it's not dreadful, but it's a bit flat and a bit lifeless but still enjoyable and energetic. It's also free of any pops or skips, not the flattest record but it's passable. For less than 20 quid it's nice... very little stuff during this period of music was recorded well so don't expect an audiophile quality version to suddenly appear!
