- Waw! I was not expecting this - excellent sound, explosive. Is this really from 1973 vinyl record? Yes. One of the best sounding albums in my collection. And, the music, the top. Totally underrated. This album has all - and yet excellent mix.
- Just brought this today, underrated album imo. My first time listening to it too, only heard hocus pocus beforehand.
- Edited 7 years agoI have a copy with matrix markings 2431011 A//1^420 112 and 2931002 A on side A and 2431011 B//1^420 11 4 and 2931002 B on Side B. The label is identical to the first UK issue LP and the cover on the Blue Horizon label not Polydor. Any ideas?
- A truly five star album from a truly unique prog rock band. What made this band exceptional wasn't Jan Akkermann's searing guitar work. It was the unique "singing" style of Thijs van Leer. The rock/jazz fusion is excellent throughout. It's not all hard driving rock [ like Hocus Pocus] but have subtle quieter passages. Side Two is devoted to one track [ Eruptions] that seems to have every sort of element. This album is really worth a listen. Future output from the band became more patchy.
