My copy has the "KT" stamp.
    Side 1 = "YEX 637-1 GDL 3"
    Side 2 = "YEX 638-1 GGM 33"
But the label has an extra dot in "SOLD IN.U.K."
Can someone tell me if this is the pressing I have? Or if it's a different one? I can't seem to find the right one. Thanks.

There's so much dribble written about the stereo 1st press Vs the mono 1st. By people who have never owned either in decent condition. The stereo first press is astonishing! The mono is great too! Neither sounds better than the other - just different. HOWEVER if I had to choose I'd keep the stereo. Why? Because it actually sounds more like the revolutionary album Sgt Pepper is claimed to be. The sonics are way beyond any other pop/rock album released up to that point. AND...there is no hard panning on the first press! Later issues may have but not this one. Rarer than the mono issue too. Save up for a decent copy. It will blow your mind!

Proudly own a very clean -1/-1 copy. Listening to this, I still think mono is the way to go for this album. It’s hard to listen to this album in stereo, as you’d want the effects on Mr. Kite to pan from left to right, instead of staying in one channel. I will say, She’s Leaving Home and When I’m Sixty Four both strongly benefit from being in stereo. Cutting wise, I’m happy with this record. Have never heard an MFSL, and will never get to see the light of day in which I can hear a Nimbus or a UHQR, but this -1 cut is fine. Vocals are clear but the drums suffer from the typical early 60s harshness. Its present on every 60s Beatles stereo record I own, and is generally the reason why I prefer reissues. Looking past that, Within You Without You has never sounded better. I do like the new Remix because of the better soundstage, but this has been around longer and is more familiar to everyone, so I can recommend this.

My copy is stamped ''YEX 637-5'' on Side 1 & ''YEX 637-4'' on Side 2. I can't find this version, can someone please assist?

                Thanks a lot.

If this is different to The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (so-called wide spine version), can someone upload a photo of the spine to show that it is a narrower spine?

I have a copy and the only difference is that the the hand stamped matrix run out isnt gd2 or go on the other side its gmd on side 1 and gah on side 2 i'm trying to figure out if that makes any difference or of its common for that particular part of the matrix to be different on each pressing. Wondering if anyone can help me out?
