When I first got this I liked the A-side the best, but ever since Mike‘s untimely passing ‚Jupiter‘ is the one that I keep coming back to. A beautifully sad slice of heaven, and a fitting legacy for one of the finest producers of the last 20 years. RIP

With many similarities to the sound of Basic Channel, the hypnotic dub-esque rhythms of "Wavetable No. 9" make it the strongest track on the record. The B-side changes things up entirely, progressing into deep house territory; the appropriate comparison this time is Theo Parrish. Depends on your inclinations, but I'm convinced the real gem is to be found on the A-side.
