Reviews
Show All 34 Reviews- Love the album but after mixed reviews I’ve seen of the pressings, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was fortunate enough to receive both LPs as nice translucent green, and for the most sounded really great. Side 3 had slight static. I prefer that over good packaging anyways but the inner fold seemed distorted. Told myself it’s just the style that’s fine. Then the labels look like something I would have printed out off word in 2005 and not symmetrical. Still love the album and happy it sounds great! All that really matters
- I bought this on impulse. I have heard great things about this album. Listened to it for the first time on this and It was amazing. Great album and amazing press. 10/10
- seeing the reviews on here and other resellers, i was definitely worried about the sound on my copy. i picked this up recently at a barnes and nobles after looking for over a year now, and i was very excited. after cleaning the records, i only heard around 4 pops and some static. static was vert heavy at the beginning of side a,b, and c but stopped by the time the song started. i also noticed some static during the middle of love galore and beginning of supermodel, although i did use the same dirty brush i used to clean the other sides so maybe ill reclean it in the future. i also noticed the trash paper sleeves included made the sides of disc one kinda cut off. besides that i think the records sound fine and the bad reviews on sound have either not cleaned the records well or they were just unlucky i guess. very excited to own this though 🤗
- just cleaned this record , not sure how yall clean it but after clean , my copy sound better than before
- This variant has had multiple represses and the quality still hasn’t been fixed. Even after a wet clean, it sounds awful. I went through 3 copies and each one has cracks and loud pops every couple seconds. Side A/B also was pressed off center, and my tone arm sways badly so you can hear a slight distortion.
- my copy is very noisy, even after a wet clean. sounds like it's mastered quite nicely otherwise, but sadly pretty distracting.
- amazing album on a gorgeous pressing. the green is my favorite pressing and i’m glad that it’s easily accessible now that it’s been restocked! quality’s great too!!
- Edited one year agoWas looking for this album, one of my go to record stores had it, purchased it and it sounds….awesome! Not saying the negative reviews are inaccurate but definitely not my experience - I’ve heard bad pressings (surface noise, quiet, etc) and this was not it. Btw, if you have an acrylic platter the reflection of the green record looks really cool.
- this pressing sounds completely fine. take note on some tracks like “anything” the song itself does not surface noise, the song just sounds like that, digitally too. this pressing is great
