Edited 3 months agoDiscovered Warmdesk about a year ago (20 years late), via m50 from Chicago and was really amazed, in fact more than amazed.
It seems the album is made from sounds from the inside of a piano.
This is a lovely crafted, cared-for and rewarding album. For fans of labels like Mille Plateaux, Force Inc. Music Works, Clicks & Cuts albums, microhouse, deep minimal, this is for you.
This album seems to have gone largely unnoticed and overlooked (although that could be my personal ignorance).
Warmdesk’s confidence and musical ability is outstanding, the sound is super clean, precise and interesting, and I am going to say something probably quite provocative, this album is an equal contribution to anything similar manufactured in Germany between 1999–2003.
