Got this as a replacement for the 1st UK pressing. The 1st UK pressing had issues on the final 2 tracks (nasty distortion). This is fixed in this version - so this is the one to get. Sounds good.

Beautiful music and a beautiful-sounding pressing too. Almost no surface noise on all three playable sides. Expensive to buy, but certainly worth every penny if you enjoy Arcade Fire. For me, this is their best album, and I am always amazed by its emotional progression, ending with Side C, containing what are probably the three best tracks of the record, if you ignore the mesmerizing "Intervention". Also worth buying vinyl for the art and the etched vinyl side which is a nice perk.

Sounds great, clear sound. A very solid pressing in my opinion.

One of the best sounding records in my collection. I replaced my original 2007 copy, which also sounded excellent, with this. I'll be using it for sound testing if I suspect my cartridge is going bad. Wide dynamics, quiet vinyl, zero distortion.

Also: Is it possible that the versions of this with the "(3)" in the matrix etchings are not GZ pressings but actually done at RTI? If so, this release would need to be split. Not sure why someone would combine ones that clearly have RTI markings like "XXXXX.X1(3)" and no sign of the GZ ("XXXXXXX/A#") stampings, into the same release.
