Dublex Inc. put some more wood on the fire and present the first Single release from the upcoming Album in Summer 2003.
Their tune "Tango Forte" has been recently successful; it climbed the German Club Charts from 0 to 1 and was blocking the pole position for six weeks. The Sugababes just took these catchy beats for their current release "Round Round", which is on rotation in European Music Channels since weeks.
However, here comes "Tócame". Actually this track was produced for a compilation, but soon the telephone was ringing all day, because everybody wanted to have that song. Definitely. And here you go... This Nu Groove Trip starts with bouncing uptempo beats and a Flamenco guitar hook that you just can’t get out of your head. Afterwards percussion comes into play- and mildly the track goes off. In addition the 21-year-old Cuban singer Barbara Padron Hernandez begs lasciviously: "Tócame", which is Spanish and means "Touch Me". Very organic, full of sexiness and hard to resist. The Instrumental Dub has not only inhaled a fat blunt, but is also intervened by some acid. In the Afroshaped RMX Studio Wizard Michel Baumann gives the beats a roll, and NYC´s djs and producers Nickodemus & Osiris unleash the funky guitar for the 5th Ave RMX. In the Mendoces RMX Jackmate Michel Baumann lives out his preferences for minimalistic techno sounds.
