great album and maybe their peak in the late 70s

Shayla, Dreaming, Accidents never happen, atomic are monster smash hits

A stunning album then and now, that retains its vitality after more than 35 years. Beginning with the first slashing drumbeats of "Dreaming" as it alternates between adolescent wail and ethereal float, the album is perfect for driving, for partying, or for having some extra coffee and getting some housework done...:) "Slow Motion" conjures up the charm of a perfectly addictive French 60s-popsicle, cutesy whirling keyboards covering up yet more flawlessly powerful Clem Burke drumwork that dares you not to dance along. "Atomic" is magic, a phenomenal hypnotic dragging you deep into some cavernous Euro club, that begs for an extended cut. Those 3 tracks alone make this a disc for the ages, but the rest of it is full of quirky fun, winsome ballads, and the energy of a New Wave band that had hit the big time and was clearly enjoying its prime.
