Reviews
- Edited 4 years agoMy copy is reasonable flat with no marks or blemishes on the vinyl.
It lacks warmth, bass and dynamics though and at some stages sounds harsh.
Reasonably good instrument separation but the lead guitar does sound like it is out on it's own and is too loud in the mix.
Nothing included with the album and (cheap and thin) inner sleeve. No lyrics or credits.
Overall it's good value for money but could be better - I just received this version from Acoustic Sounds. On their website it is listed as being pressed by QRP, which I confirmed with their excellent customer service. However, the gentleman did not have any information on the pressing itself, regarding who mixed it, cut it, etc. It sounds great, much better than any of the 'greatest hits' versions that have been around the last few years. It's certainly possible that they used the same stampers that they did for the AP 200 gram version of this record. It's a fact the same happened on Cosmo's Factory, where you can buy the KG cut for 20 bucks. I hope that's the case here. Highly recommended version here.
