Notes
Recorded and Mixed at Galaxy Studios & Music Plant;
Overdubs with the Motor Music Mobile & Finishing at Ghosttown;
Mastered at Electric City;
Track 1: 4-track song, composed & recorded, 1996, overdubs in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Sounds like a late 50s French film noir soundtrack.
Track 2: Taken from the vinyl In Coffee We Trust. Recorded and mixed on 16-track at Music Plant. The song was written in 1996 after a strange night with Bob and and old lover.
Track 3: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Finished at Ghosttown. Basic chords & lyrics in a Dutch hotel room during a tour depression.
Track 4: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Written in 1996.
Track 5: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Sort of a blues thing, but only half of the band likes blues, some hate it. If we remember well, the King of Wilrijk wrote pieces of the lyrics.
Track 6: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Sort of no wave thing. Most people will hate this one. Lyrics written on Christmas eve, 1996.
Track 7: A 4-track song. Sounds exactly like the title suggests. 1997.
Track 8: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Started with a sax riff from Dirk and sort of turned into a cheap soundtrack from God knows what. 1997.
Track 9: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the mobile from Motor Music and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Written in 1997.
Track 10: A 4-track song.
Track 11: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Our adoration of "The Popgroup" & "The Gang Of Four" brought us this song written during rehearsal. 1997.
Track 12: Recorded on 16-track at the Music Plant. Taken from In Coffee We Trust as well. 1996. Written during recording. James White esque.
Track 13: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Written during recording. 1997.
Track 14: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Used to have vocals but is now an instrumental following the departure of Wilrijk.
Track 15: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Uxed to be an instrumental but we always wanted to make sort of a band stand up comedy soundtrack out of it. We've been playing this since 1995.
Track 16: Composed & recorded on dictaphone & 4-track. Reverb added at Ghosttown. For and about D. 1997.
Track 17: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. 1996.
Track 18: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Finished at Ghosttown. A silly tune indeed. 1997.
Track 19: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Title stolen from Norman Mailer. Written during rehearsal 1997. Title printed incorrectly as "Though Guys Don't Dance" on the sleeve and on the disc.
Track 20: An impro. Overdubbed in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile and mixed at Galaxy Studios. Chinese music recorded on dictaphone in the museum of Hongkong. Voices in the street of Hongkong. 1996.
Track 21: Composed & recorded on 4-track. It's a long way indeed.
Track 22: Recorded in Elko's grandparents garage with the Motor Music Mobile. Title printed incorrectly as "Good Night Irene" on the sleeve and disc. Lyrics written on dictaphone in Hongkong. 1996. Song was made during rehearsal.
