Reviews
- Edited 7 years agoThis is a true 84' release. Check your etchings match with above... I'm in a minority of folk who are not 100% fans of all Ice-T's output (bar his ultra early joints like the stuff on Saturn Records e.t.c). However, there is absolutely no messing about on 'Reckless', what a stone cold classic! The Tebitan & Reckless instrumentals are also both killer. Ouch, what a slab of wax...
- "Reckless" is a electro masterpiece, on par with "Boogie Down Bronx" and "Jam On It". Exceptionnal electronic music.
- Please check the etchings of yourTaxidermi pressings! If the runout grooves show a L-37413 / L-37413x the laquers would have been processed by Greg Lee Processing in 1991, which means the record has not been relased in 1984, but in 1991 or even later!
- Edited 12 years agoI remember buying my original copy on taxidermi back in around 1990/91 from a mail order catolgue specialising in old school wax. I always assumed it was from 1984, but I understand it was issued in 1990. The copy I own has a small yellow label (unbroken) that is stuck over a white label. As far as I know this is the first pressing on taxidermi, but I might be wrong. I've only ever found one other copy like that since then. Regardless of what pressing you have this is certainly a classic and although the vocal versions are dope, the instrumental version of 'reckless' remains one of my favourite tracks of all time.
