Doesn't suffer from the excessive top-end of its CD counterpart, and is much more totally balanced. That being said, the original mix was quite dense and dynamics limited so there were certain limitations inherent that a remaster couldn't touch. Still a marked upgrade from the CD. The disc itself was heavyweight and flat, and played back with minimal surface noise. The lacquer was cus quite hot, which certsinly helps with the S/N ratio.

This is sonically brilliant and far better than my older Capitol pressing. The psychedelics' and textured layers are much more apparent, especially on Planet Telex

There must have been a repress. I JUST got a copy with a different Matrix here in the US. Side A: 233529E1/A, Side B: 233529E2/B. Also comes with a download insert unlike all others displayed. EXCELLENT PRESSING.

This must have gotten repressed because my local shop got a copy today so i obviously went and got it. Its a damn good pressing and far superior to the standard version.

Sounds good on side A - very warm and dynamic, and good mastering. Unfortunately, side B is scratched to hell with many diagonal scratches. It skips on almost every song. Super bummed but hopefully can get a replacement..

Edit: I gave it another thorough wet cleaning and now it sounds perfect! No more skips. This pressing is wonderful.

Great sounding press. Much more dynamic than the standard weight (non 180) 2016 US release.

Solid pressing, the only issue - clicks in the ending of the Nice dream.

Great album, especially side B. Black start and Street spirit sound fantastic.

Mine is fabulous and this album is freaking amazing. Technics DL-5, Ortofon cartridge.

The copy sounded very "ok" to "meh on my Ortofon OM-10 cartridge. It's MUCH better on my VM95ML micro line. I have a feeling this one is a deep cut and might need a better stylus to appreciate. Still a lot of surface noise even after an ultrasonic cleaning though.

My copy sounds fantastic. I have none of the issues listed here, guess I got lucky! Bought brand new in a record store in 2021
