- Love this album, somehow it took me back to 1975 and Rubycon by Tangerine Dream. Anyone else ? Might be those big sequenced synth bass lines !
This release is very very nice. I love the whole extended 40 minute arc passion double track on of his best sequenced journeys. Bless- "Moment Of Grace" starts out with some swooshing synth works. Undeniably very Roach-like.
At the moment this starts you can feel the electricity in the air and that something exciting is about to happen. The main piece "Arc Of Passion" begins with sequenced synthesizers that takes you into distant realms with a hint of a sci-fi theme. This "sound world" that we are being introduced to takes you back to earlier releases like "Proof Positive" with its propulsive and forward-moving feeling. Glimmering and colorful scenery is expandanded across the two speakers. A very strong release indeed. No wonder this was one of the releases that made me a fan of Steve Roach.
