    For Your Information:

The Beastie Boys did apparently ask for permission to use the both the title and sleeve design concept for their instrumental album. Smash Mouth however did not get permission to cop (borrow and/or steal) the main riff from "Swan's Splashdown" for their song "Walking On The Sun".

See Wikipedia's The_in_Sound_from_Way_Out!_(Perrey_and_Kingsley_album) and the corresponding entries on the Beastie Boys and Smash Mouth for more information.

This album, by the way, should be considered mandatory listening for anyone interested in electronica, early electronic (Moog) music, 60's futurist musics, children's tunes, or general weirdness.

A true classic from the golden days of Moog and before.
The Beastie Boys ripped off the sleeve, everyone else ripped off the sounds of mad scientist JJ Perrey. Highly recommended for under 8's, or people on Nitrous Oxide. Definitely the best sleevenotes on a record....ever
