Reviews
- One of the most gloriously outlandish releases of 2018 came courtesy of experimental flamenco musician Niño de Elche. Over the course of almost two hours, he pays musical tribute to the likes of Guy Debord, Tim Buckley and Federico García Lorca, draws a history of the Spanish civil war through its songs, and plays around with cut-up vocal samples to sinister effect. It’s a lot to take in, but well worth the ride.
