Notes

Recorded at Trancentral.

The disc actually contains only 1 long (38 mins.) sequenced track, but the back art does list them separately, as above.

Two booklet versions of the artwork exist: (1) as a double-sided printed single inlay card, (2) the typical one with four panels (a single sheet folded), full color on the outside, and white on the inside.

There is a change in the printing of the back inlay of red disc and black disc.
The positions of the titles on both sides are different.
SPACE is on top - red disc.
SPACE CD 1 is on top - black disc.

This was originally going to be the first Orb lp. The trio of Alex Patterson, Martin Glover aka Youth and Jimi Cauty worked together on previous outings in early house and trance music styles. This recording was originally Alex and Jimi until Alex decided to go a different direction with the first Orb lp and thus to get a true perspective try mixing these two together.
For myself I find it a mixed bag. Side 1 very ambient, side 2 more dance orientated. I have the original faxed KLF communications press release if anyone's interested.

You can truly imagine this album in longform video. It's a rare occation when I find something that I like and I don't know why. The theatrical is so natural to Jim Cauty that the album cover is as much a part of the record as the music/sounds are. It simply works.

If you're reading this then you are no doubt aware of the more famous KLF Communications ambient release 'Chill Out'. This is truly a masterpiece by one half of the KLF Jimmy Cauty. Apparently Dr Alex Paterson or The Orb had also worked on this album but his contributions were removed at the last minute. Expect to pair a fairly large chunk of money for this release but in my opinion it's worth every penny. Like 'Chill Out' this is an album to put on, switch the lights off, kick back, relax and be transported away with.
