- Is there a version of this vinyl that had a slightly different/original intro like this one? (The slow bulid-up to the John Rees Lewis layers of horn samples): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf02-E4Uj-o
- Edited 2 years agoThis is very much an underated tune! prob because it was not played to death by the usual yes men DJs.
The remix of this tune is a complete banger with awesome drum programming!
You can check the remix out on this release: https://www.discogs.com/release/157291-Tim-Taylor-Taktix-Istanbul-Remix-The-Way - Edited 7 years agoIts so nice that you can still get killer old school tracks with out having to remorgage your house. A banger & as topfloor said prity well unknown. Peobal allways ask me what it was if i'v played it in a set.Top notch hard 92 breakbeat hardcore if you don't have this record then you really should.
- This is a wicked tune but seemingly unknown, or at least lesser known than its world-famous predecessor by Tim Taylor - The Horn Track. In the same vein, this vinyl kicks off with haunting eastern-inspired noise - this time, not the horns, but the Muslim call to prayer. And then the kind of massive rolling breakbeats you'd expect from the team that brought you The Horn Track come smashing in. Big tune, always was one of my faves anyway. peace.
