The rest is quoted from Prospero, the protagonist of William Shakespeare's play The Tempest: "And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, / Leave not a rack behind: we are such stuff / As dreams are made on, and our little life / Is rounded with a sleep." In context, Prospero is constructing a metaphor on ephemerality to halt the play-within-a-play; critics of Shakespeare believe it was his way of announcing his retirement from writing, and he would die 5 years after the play was written.

Way overpriced IMO, that being said its still a great album

Deep In Your Heart: vocals sampled from Mary J. Blige - Be Without You
Today, I accidentally played "Deep In Your Heart" at 33 ⅓ RPM. Do it and thank me later. Can't explain how freaking deep and hypnotic it is. Crazy. This record is worth every single penny.- Truth Inside is a beauty, Deep in your Heart may be more commercial but its is certainly memorable.
Tribal days (both parts) are excellent, and so are Grande Finale and Getting Things Started.
Overall I think its a solid release and I've been happily playing it ever since I got a copy.

Edited 5 years agoI do appreciate this album but it is nothing so new or so terrificly groundbreaking. If you take an absolute masterpiece in minimalistic techno as "Headphoneasy rider" by Peter Ford (not mentioning many Function releases ...) you will find that everything was there (well, to be honest, PMOD does not use claps or snare drums !!!). The trancey and progressive feeling is an intelligent add-on to the genre, but the hype over this one is in many ways misleading.
Edited 5 years agoEdit: What's wrong with people? A solid share of the recent repress apparently when straight to discogs for profit. Shame on you.
If you have just a tiny bit of patience, just wait a couple of months and save yourself some £25+ and buy both records straight from the source for the price of one. They will repress (again) for sure.
As far as the music goes, this is indeed a quality dub techno album. Not a 5/5, but you're gonna have to search a loooong time to find something that matches both the talent and caliber of musical exploration on this 3x12" .... for £25 quid. 'The Vibe' and 'Deep In Your Heart' are my personal favorites.
I received two copies of side C/D but no A/B. Contacted the label so fingers crossed they have some backup discs.- ya'll wait 10 years and see if you change your mind about the vocals if this guys put them there there's a reason and i personally think they're really good. I love this album.
