It is what it is, a lovely house record based on samples, with that Koze glow.

Cool your boots gremlins; this is a warm & happy nod back to the reign of French house in the late 90's & a more commercial outing for Koze. I hope he makes some bucks off this one, & swaps that red wine he drinks in his studio for a bottle of top notch Champers ;-)

Side A unoriginal
Side B boring

I was just checking why this record appeared on the best selling list.
Why so?

This track is a rehash. Shouldn't be getting the love that it is. Sad! Essentially showing how stagnant club music has become. I wish we could move past this same formula. Also, do any of these artists who were sampled get any royalties?! Who can even tell anymore.

what a pity for D-Ren 1 ‎– Bless The Funk (https://www.discogs.com/D-Ren-1-Bless-The-Funk/release/183) in 1999!
He never named DJ Koze so he never had any chance for success!

So Koze just ripped "Melba - Pick me up and dance" which btw sounds better than his remix... what a let down Koze...

I own a brand new copy and Track A is skipping out of the box after 3 minutes, no optical marks visible. Anyone else with this issue?

Vocal hook samples "Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)" by Gladys Knight & the Pips.

Truly a deep house killer.

If you like Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You, you'll definitely like this one too. (referring specifically to "Pick Up"). The same way that the sick, disco guitar twang loop gets rocked in the Stardust track, it gets rocked here too. The appropriate word would be "anthem".
