My copy sounds good but I have to crank it to 11 to get any sort of volume. This is my quietest LP out of 1400 :-)

I agree that it's great to have the full album versions of the songs mentioned in the comment before. But I'm afraid the sound quality of this record isn't satisfying at all. It sounds dull. Yes, the soundstage is wide, but there is no life in this record's sound. I found a cheap European pressing from the 80s and that sounds much clearer and livelier than this issue.

As one person noted, these are not the edited versions that we’re all used to on the CD version of Legend. These are the original album versions and the track times listed are incorrect. Most notably: No Woman No Cry is the full live version and does not fade, and Stir It Up, I Shot The Sheriff, and Exodus are the longer, full album versions. I was extremely happy about this when I first gave it a spin.

My LP was purchased in the last couple of days and sounds very good. More than adequate sound stage, great balance, and very clear high end with plenty of bass and well above average vinyl with just a few pops/ticks that I may be able to address with an additional wet cleaning. The one surprise is that I've owned the 90's CD for forever, and the versions of the songs on this LP are longer - mostly from longer intros and fade outs than the versions on the CD. That's not a criticism, just an observation.

My copy seems flawless great sound and of course some of the greatest music. I will add my standard complaint about crappy inner sleeve that drops bits on the vinyl.

This is a very nice compilation/reissue, on 180g vinyl. Sonically, sounds excellent. Wide sound stage and punchy drums, important for reggae. Pressing is outstanding. Vinyl is dead quiet with no flaws nor extraneous noise.

Good quality press with just a little crackle. Let down somewhat by the scant packaging and spelling mistakes on back.

Let me have a wail here. I love Bob Marley and this is a great compilation. However, the quality of the mastering ( half volume) and the guality of the vinyl is really poor. Who cares if it's 180g if it's 180g of crap. This was covered in hairlines and noise within days of purchase. I have records from the 50's that sound better than this after half a century or more!
