interesting demo tracks with an horrible mix (if we consider that were compiled unofficially from original master tapes). latter the cds version of this album were bootlegged using the vinyl as recording source so the sound quality is gone a little worst than LP edition.

this lp was released early in 1985 right after def leppard became a household name, you can say this was a total cash in to capitolize on the success of pyromania, these are early songs that where originally recorded in 1979 when the band where just coming up, an ex employee of the band had the original rough tapes of these songs, took them to germany and had them re mixed and polished up and as a result of that you get this lp first strike wich was only released in belgium on the small flash label, needless to say within a week of its release def leppards record company filed a notice of claim and these had to be pulled right away and where off the shelves in record shops in belgium about a week after its release so how many of these got out??? i dont know but i feel it is safe to say there are a few hundred floating around the world some 32 years on now, this was considered a very collectible lp for many years due to the fact of how rare it is, this has a decent laminated sleeve and comes on the yellow flash label wich was a small label out of belgium back in the early to mid 1980s......... there is a bootleg cd of this lp wich adds many extra songs that could not fit on this lp..........
