Reviews
- bass is, as many have said, great, but a5 and to a lesser extent a4 are super muddy and distorted and sibilant
- Aside from the copious amounts of dust from the inner sleeve and the distortion on A4 and A5 this plays pretty nicely; Jóga sounds fittingly gorgeous on vinyl.
- I've had the CD since 1997 and finally got it on LP this year from Amazon.ca. What a wicked pressing! Zero noise. Dynamic and warm with KICK ASS bass. It's like discovering this album all over again.
- Few pops or clicks, but sounds off. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I think it might be compressed or something
- I don’t know what some of you clowns are playing this record on but this is hands down one of THE best pressings I own! Super quiet hardly any surface noise ZERO static and I’ve been listening to this album for 26 years but when I spin this record I’m hearing things I never heard before! It’s a very dynamic, warm and enveloping mix full of nuances that I didn’t realise where even there before
- Edited one year agoKinda surface noisy in quiet parts, and the needle goes right into the label on Side A of my copy. Sounds good aside from the noise. Björk seems to be a mixed bag in terms of the most recent presses of her albums!
- Edited one year agoExcellent release. Sounds dynamic, immersive and deep.
Very low surface noise in my copy. - Bachelorette and all neon like (tracks 4 and 5 on side A) sounds really muddy and distorted, even after cleaning both the record and my stylus. The other songs however sound insanely good!
- Not great but not terrible either. The sound is a little shallow and there is major inner groove distortion on the last 2 tracks of side A (the grooves almost go right to the label). otherwise it sounds pretty good.
