I would recommend this to anyone that would go into it knowing about surface noise on picture discs, my copy had the tiniest amount of noise practically undetectable while songs were playing even in low passages (very quiet pops and cracks every few seconds) and the remaster imho is really really good, it just sounds fantastic to me (using nagaoka mp110, technics sl1900, preamp schiit mani, pioneer lx301 on pure direct (bypass mode) and elac ubi5 speakers. There's obviously the black vinyl version but i just thought the picture disc makes for a great collector's item.

Sounds great ignore anyone whining about picture discs (when they post what the equipment they are playing it on I'll take note) This is a good one. For the record Clearaudio Concept, Satisfy Arm, Meastro Ebony V2 cart and Rogue Audio Pharoah amp feeding Dynaudio excite x14 and a REL T5i sub.

Fantastic Remaster. Nice and bright. Great mids with a nice low end. So happy with this release. Yes, a little noise from the picture disc but not enough to ruin the fun.

My copy of this sounds perfect. Super clean sound with good volume. I personally like the remaster, it has a bit more punch in the sound. Great release!

I hope 50 people come here to tell us how awful picture discs sound. That's always unexpected and helpful.

Does anyone know how this sounds?
Torn Down, to me sounds great and especially after last year with the acoustic picture discs that had pops all over them.

I have the CD of this and if the picture disc isn't worth it I want to return it.

Remastered and then pressed onto picture discs; irony, anyone? (Here's some extra words to make the word count).
