The mastering on this alternate mix and or take is high quality by CB and friends, even if it was most likely a digital source that was supplied. The remaster by KG is also very fine. I’m glad to have it but to be honest, I feel like my favorite track Into The Mystic is a bird who’s wings have been clipped by the guys who remixed it. In my “humble” armchair opinion this track simply has to have a saxophone. You can remove the fog horn and remove the vocal reverb but I personally cannot “ sail into the mystic “ on a guitar and drums. I keep waiting for that lift off and of never arrives. Even the original mix the sax’s presence feels weak, it needed to come more foreword on the same level of the vocals. They don’t compete, never overlapping. I’m ok with removing the vocal reverb and increasing the drum impact and guitar is probably sounding more foreward than the original but without the sax this track does not leave the ground.

Side 1 is interesting but I definitely prefer the normal version. Side 2 is awesome though so I’m glad I purchased it!
