Reviews

Huge svek 12 the "Big Bang Theory (Remix By Stephan G & The Persuader)" sounds even better in 2020 !!!!

In my opinion one of the more interesting, and underrated tunes released on Svek. The Big Bang Theory is a funky slice of groovy techno which lands somewhere between the instrumental of Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" and Umek's "Chuckercheck". Hypnotic and administered with a vaccine of heavy funk and plenty laid back sounds to keep it interesting. It goes on for over eight minutes too, so the possibilites this one provides are close to infinite. It stands well on it own, as it has that spiralling loopy hook which goes on and on and on, coupled with the mellow lush pads and joyous harmonic arrangements Svek was often associated with.
Two thumbs up for this one!
