Loidis – A Parade, In The Place I Sit, The Floating World (& All Its Pleasures)

Recently heard A parade at the start of a set on a great Soundsystem. Magical tune. Has anyone got any similar tunes to A1 they would reccomend

This one is such a beauty! I first heard "A Parade" while coming up on really potent acid on a 4 hour Mixmaster Morris-set at Ozora 2018. It took me a couple of months to track this one down, but I'm so glad I did, as it turns out the other two tracks hits my sweet spot equally much. Somehow all tracks could've been signed by Kuniyuki Takahashi at his most trippy and meditative. Organic, ever growing "house" for nature lovers, mushroom hunters and after glowers.

Small personal story, a bit trivial.. this ep arrived exactly on Christmas eve. When i bought it, i remember being impressed with the snippets,but in the meantime i had forgotten whatthe music was like. What an incredible gift i have offered myself! A2 for me, but only if i have to make a choice..! Merry holidays, everyone!

I got to play this out on a loud system earlier this summer. I lost myself in it big time! B1 is one of my favourite records in a long time!

Wonderful record, every track is magical... takes you to beautiful places.

stunning record, something to take from every track.. a particular highlight for me is 'In The Place I Sit'; a gorgeous and luminescent affair with a languid ten minute run time, both unhurried and constantly shapeshifting - everything sits super nicely. if anything is a testament to the skills of huerco s., there's a lot to be said to build five minutes of atmosphere in this track without a kick drum to anchor the whole thing. the way the latter half of the track stretches out perfectly balances that ocean of pads in the former - fans of this track in particular might enjoy the more rhythmic end of jan jelinek's sonic adventures - loop finding jazz records & the 'personal rock' album released under the 'gramm' alias

So many adjectives could be used to describe this music but none would do it justice. The title speaks for itself: A parade, in the place I sit, the floating world (& all its pleasures)

Absolute genius piece of music this is. Nice subtle minimal/lofi music
