Fairly awful sounding album. Sounds muddy and muffled. Gave it a deep clean and there’s still some pops and odd noises so pretty bad pressing overall. Too bad as it’s a great album, especially that art by Fursy!
I'm not sure if it's the pressing, probably not, but the guitars sound like they were recorded with a pillow between the mic and the speaker. Everything else sounds good so probably not a transfer/pressing issue?... Other than that, nearly no signs of surface noise, almost no warp and the vinyl/packaging is of good quality.
Received two separate copies warped.
Luckily refunded so slight score. Album however doesn't sound great at all. Sounds very distorted. Thought a clean or two might sort it, alas, not the case. Pity.
Can someone confirm if between the penultimate and the last song on the b side there is a scratch that ruins listening for 40 seconds. I have changed it twice and all copies have exactly the same defect. It looks like a pressing defect on all copies. It's frustrating.
