This recording of "Einstein on the Beach" contains all the music, lyrics and speeches from the original production of "Einstein on the Beach" as performed in Europe in the Summer and Fall of 1976 and at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City in November 1976.
Runouts are etched, except the Wakefield plant ID is stamped.

The original box set (Tomato) is the best sounding version I have heard. Yeah, it can be a "long" listening experience (compared to other releases, the promo and cd) but somehow when heard in it's entirety it all seems to makes more sense. The vinyl pressing is superb. For me, this is where P Glass peaks.
