- my runouts are slightly different than the ones on this page, maybe i have the 2007 repress?
anyway, these vinyl sound AWESOME! super loud, bassy when it needs to be, and acid that will melt your face off ;) - Edited one year agoAnyone know how to differentiate the 2002 repress from the 2007 one (do the sleeves have slightly different shades of green, for example) ? Cheers..
- Edited 2 years agoThis release has it moments, but also the annoying fact that several tracks were left out for no other reason that I know of, apart from that it would be annoying.
The fact that the CD edition at least has "Humanoid Must Not Escape" only exacerbates the pettiness. - Edited 5 years agoWhy the hell did they not put Popcorn on this compilation :/ Such a tune from Joyrex 4
- Edited 6 years agoGreat classic Acid/IDM compilation. "On The Romance Tip" is one of the best electronic track I've ever heard, but there are plenty of awesome sounds & rythms in this release. A must have !
- RDJ is capable of so many varying styles that are all original to him, and him alone. He can make music that will allow you to drift off to other worlds, laugh your ass off from absurd musical gestures and dance till you drop with hard acid and drill and bass grindage. But this compilation stands out and is, IMHO, the absolute best of his musical output. I've been listening to this collection of EPs for almost 20 years now, and it does not get old or less entertaining. I still hold hope that he will release music that hearkens back to this era of melt your face off acid. Thank you Richard, for making me a dreamer of dreams.
