Is it possible the track sequence listed here is wrong for the original vinyl pressings? I have a copy I purchased in the mid-80's (seemingly the second repress, based upon the photos of the label here). On my copy, the song beginning with a bass line that has a duration of 3:02 (which I believe to be called "Mesh", but that's a separate issue) comes first on the B-side, followed by the song that starts with a synth wash that lasts 3:20 (which I believe to be called "Cries and Whispers").

This is reversed on my CD single; the 3:20 song with the synth intro comes before the 3:02 song with the bass intro.

However, every entry here, and every other discography I've found, says the 3:20 song with the synth intro comes first on all vinyl editions. I think it's very unlikely that I have some undocumented pressing.

    So, can anyone clarify:
    - Do their original 80's made vinyl b-side start with the song with the bass line, or the song with the synth wash? [And if it's the bass line...are all these Discogs track sequences incorrect?]
    - And, what about the 2019 re-issue? [Which I don't have, but I suspect has the tracks reversed from mine, making it like the CD single.]

This was mastered so loud that the top and bottom of the wave form are cut off. Still sounds great though. Glad to have the 2019 remaster without the clipping.

Bernie plays Ian's white VOX Phantom Special VI guitar on these tracks.

cries and whispers is the greatest song theyve ever made..now its alot different than what they are known to be..but at this time they are still trying to find their sound.
