Reviews
- Very short (~24 min) psychsploitation LP mostly in the pop/beat vein, but with a couple good numbers inspired by contemporary sounds of the era. The best track to my tastes is "In The Late Afternoon", which seems to take several cues from Revolver-era Beatles. "Show Me How To Cry" is similarly enjoyable with a good garage/beat hook, if you can get over the lyrics. Overall it sounds quite a bit like The Smoke on Sidewalk, but isn't quite as creative. Well-polished songs, but mostly not my style.
- The song "Come On And Get It" is the same as Davie Allan & The Arrows' "Pentagon Square" off the instrumental soundtrack to Wild In The Streets - the two were written by Harley Hatcher, who was both a Mike Curb associate and the producer of the American Revolution record.
