There isn't anything utterly wrong with the pressing IMO, but it does feel a bit lacking. It's pretty quiet, and doesn't have that same "depth" to the sound that a great pressing would. It does sound like this was taken from a digital source, yes. The bass also feels somewhat reverberant.

Sounds very good, I have always loved this album for many reasons so I wanted to have a great version on vinyl. I initially bought the Analogue Productions 45 2-disk version which is incredible. The AP version is $55 so it is not for everybody you really have to want a special version, so I recently got the DOL version because it came with another album I wanted as a package deal in NM condition. I am surprised that I really like this version and the bonus single versions are awesome to have in one package. The DOL sounds very good and will satisfy most, I had no issues with noise or distortion it is very quite and the instruments sound natural and pleasing. The AP version of course is on another level with the sound stage much bigger and the vocals and instruments more detailed, more articulation like the cymbals on Getz solo and the intro piano on Corcovado really stand out. So if you want a good version get the DOL and if you want a super version get the AP, I'm glad to have both.
**I know DOL, Jaz Wax, Wax Time etc.. have a bad rap but I have had good pressings and when I don't like the sound I can just return them as I get them at amazon. I usually buy a U.S. brand or premium audio brand such as Acoustic Sounds but sometimes that's very expensive or Sold Out, these off brand pressings can be surprisingly good.

I’m not to impressed with my pressing - the lower sax parts have a funny static sound on them, none of the other instruments have it. When the sax is played louder it goes away - but on the quieter parts it sounds like a fluttering of static. Uggh.
Amazingly quiet pressing..hard to believe the music is from a record rather than live! Two extra tracks and still sealed copies at a low price...best purchase ever!
Fantastic Vinyl. Couldn’t recommend more. Still available for reasonable prices too. Very low disc noise which is important for the breathy style of singing and instruments.

I agree with Simon_Dragnes review. If this is taken from a digital source, it was done well. The overall sound and ambiance is pleasant and worthwhile.
