- Does anyone know if the more recent Clear vinyl pressing is an improvement over the previous pressings of this? Please let me know. Love this album and would love to have it on vinyl but I don't want to waste my money if it sounds as bad as people say the other pressings do.
- Edited 4 years agoI'm just hear to echo what has already been said regarding the quality of this pressing. It really is awful and totally ruins the listening experience. I feel sorry for the artist because her work deserves much better, it's a great album.
- Edited 4 years agoAnyone know if the black vinyl pressing is any better? I'm assuming both blue vinyl versions are the same pressing, with 250 getting an extra wrap-around sleeve.
- Agreed! Really disappointed with the pressing and sound quality of this release. The surface noise is terrible on my copy and significantly effects the listening pleasure. It's not acceptable really! I'll stick with the download on this one, and be very cautious over future purchases from the label : (
- Man, Sacred Bones has some awful vinyl coming out lately. Last few releases I've bought have been ridiculously noisy. I understand every now and then a bum pressing happens, but the quality control over there is totally MIA. Kind of a letdown that a label is knowingly putting out cruddy vinyl and letting their customers shell out money for what are essentially unlistenable records. Makes me want to give up on the label.
- Unfortunately, my copy has a ton of surface noise and was very warped. I love this album, but my copy of this pressing is pretty bad.
