Reviews
- Edited 10 years agoShort review: Wow! From a 1972 show in Los Angeles what an assemblage of 70's jazz/groove players! Ron Carter's bass is always funky and locking in with Jack DeJohnette of course. George Benson,Freddie Hubbard and Grover Washington Jr. are the features on their own songs and Grover's morphs in and out of Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin' On". What makes the very good audio live recording even better is what they did with the gatefold, it is a stage perspective panorama of the musicians on stage and the audience. Perfect to set-out as you listen!
