Reviews
- Okay. If you insist on a physical version of this record, I think this CD is the way to go. It has multiple advantages over the Infinite Fog edition.
- The artwork looks better than the IF edition. It more-or-less matches the original CD version.
- It has the actual "London's Lost Rivers" track, which I always liked and wished had been included on the CD version in the first place.
- If you play/rip this on a computer, it's a silky smooth pressing compared to the garbled mess that is the IF pressing.
- Without wading into the never-ending dramafest surrounding Coil, I'll just say that I feel better giving my money to Drew. I really wish this had all been done via Threshold Archives, as originally intended. Since that project seems to be DOA, this is presumably as good as it's going to get.
- The mastering, to my ears, sounds ever so slightly better than the IF edition. They both sound fine but this one, to me, just seems to add something a bit extra in subtle but meaningful ways. It's hard to describe.
