- Definitely up there with my favourite records of this year. The quality of music across the EP is just so high. Philip D and Om Unit coming up with the goods big style.
- Edited 4 years agoMy favourite release of 2018 so far. All five tracks are excellent as you would expect on Fracture & Neptune's Astrophonica. From the acid house of In Formation, to DJ Spinn Vibeing Off the beat, or the incessant urgent vocals of For Real, to the amens of Drown. This is a high quality release from front to back. Harks back to the heady, halcyon days of the early 90s, with For Real and Drown - which samples both Skanna's Nightstalker EP and the Work the Box Ep by Potential Bad Boy both being real heavyweight offerings. Very subtle use of samples. Took me quite a while to work out what tracks they were from.....Both tracks could be my track of the year maybe.... Buy on sight.
