Edited one year agoI live in the states and I am always in awe of MOV represses. You can be general and saying they are one of the top notch "affordable" audiofile presses. Do they have quality control problems from time to time, sure. That's why you buy from a reputable place and return it when it sounds like shit or has some nasty scratches.
Ask yourself a question and be honest with yourself.....do you EVER make a mistake at work? Well when you get a bad pressing or a record with a scratch usually that's the case, someone made a mistake. So move on with your life and have some grace and give the people who press these things by the thousands a break.
I wish MOV had an official channel to get them in the states. The only way I can afford them is when the make it into the country through the Grey market.- Through The Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, Sonic Youth, Tom Waits, Nirvana, Kyuss, The Pixies and The Obessed in a blender and you might end up with this masterpiece of an album! Reissue sounds great!
What a surprise MOV absolutely knocking it out the park with a vinyl reissue THROW YOUR THIRD MAN PRESSINGS AWAY these are the definitive versions without a doubt- Fuuuuuuuuk. This sound incredible! Another beauty MOV. Highly recommended 🤘
- Just received my MOV copy and I can confirm that this beautiful European pressing is the way to go. Gorgeous vinyl (black) and absolutely dead quiet. Dynamic and punchy, lively. Gatefold packaging is top quality, all images sharp and saturated and clean looking. The real thing!
Needed to add to the chorus of praise for this pressing, I baulked at what I paid for it retail in Newcastle but went ahead and I'm super glad I did. Dynamic and full of life and complexity, just a fantastic issue of a classic album.

This pressing sounds so damn good. Dead silent, zero noise. Punchy, dynamic, brilliant. Gorgeous looking vinyl as well.- Wow. We had ourselves a little press-off between Third Man and MOV and Third Man got DUNKED on, right down to on the artwork.
