    Wow !!! I am impressed. Today is the first time that I have actually listened to the entirety of this album after finding it in a junk-shop today. I have always been a Madonna fan for years but I have somehow always avoided this album thinking that it would be some mediocre stuff. Of course Vogue is a classic and easily one of Madonna's best, but the rest ? Boy was I wrong. First of all this is such a fantastic sounding recording. I am completely blown away by the clarity, the dynamics and the overall sound quality of this pressing. This is the kind of record you can use to show off to people to demonstrate how awesome vinyl can sound ( and yes, this album was recorded using analogue equipment ). This is such a good album with a couple of really great tracks, all brilliantly arragend. And it most certainly is a different Madonna album. 5 out of 5 stars. [ Playing this using an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge ]

        Excellent pressing (and becoming hard to find in even very good condition as the sleeve damages easily). A guilty pleasure and a favourite for many a fan (no one admits it but its pretty great from start to finish) and has more than one stone cold classic on it; Something to Remember ranks among Madonna's greatest songs. Back in the Business, He's a Man and the joyous-only Madonna would do it-Hanky Panky are all excellent tracks. The Stephen Sondheim numbers are amazing and I have no problems with the cute songs like Cry Baby. Plus there's Vogue...A camp classic album in the best possible way and so much more than a "she also did this" LP.
