agreed with apedap, i think they we're a bit lost while compiling this one. might have had something to do with the fact that this compilation was released just after ID & T (almost) went bankrupt due to the Mystery Land 1994 event - can imagine they had something different on their minds rather than this compilation.

Some people I know think IX is the worst volume and calling it uninspired but the first disc of this comp is a real snoozefest, at least Revenge Of The Mummy has some hits you remember.

This Thunderdome 6 compilation offered new material for it's time also the Scottish sound you could easily hear in some tracks . You could even hear the transition from two era's one being pure Rave with Thunderdome 1-5 and the new era with Thunderdome 6-10 . One of the greates megamix by the name House Party 6 offers it perfectly . The page has turned and a new book has opened to step in the Hardcore/Gabber with this Thunderdome 6 for a long journey .

This CD has music from various labels back in 1994 when the
sound of oldskool was at its best. Most tunes on the CD have a slow beat and bouncy sound but over the years hardcore has matured and gone faster and many new talented artists are now appearing on the hardcore scene the CD has some scottish hardcore tracks on it which have a similar sound to the dutch hardcore.
