echoing below, AA is fucking such a dope one. hugggggge bass and a sick breaky groove. absolute slammer. reminds me of slam dunking.

Straight to the Hawtin mix on this set for me. Which is handy because I seem to have lost the other disk somewhere along the line. If you think it might be interesting to hear Richie Hawtin tackle breakbeats then the 'Motor Bass Gets Phunked Up (Electrofunk Remix) ' might be for you. Crisp crunching breaks, as a music journalist might say, punctuated by a blast of analouge funk. Or something like that. I expect the Carl Craig mix is quite good also, the original material is ripe for a Carl Craig interpretation. I'll have to give it a listen....
