If you are looking for the Original Mix of Jealousy And Lies, it can be found on the B-side of Julian Jonah & Linda Muriel - (There'll Be A) Better Day for a fraction of the price of this record.

Billie Ray Martin - BTW> for those interested. I heard Jealousie and Lies by Julian Jonah and stopped on the stairs going down and just went: what is this, what is this. I spent the next day finding out and then met the guys that would join me to become #electribe101 and said: Do THAT. The rest, as they say .......

This tune was kicking around as early as 1987/1988. It is one of the finest examples of that bona-fide deep vocal house sound associated with NY & Chicago of that time AND probably also the earliest, to come out the UK. 3 magical mixes here with big production & still stands up today. Often overlooked until the last few years where this was selling for peanuts. Now with fewer copies around and quite sought after, rightly creeping up to where it belongs. All-Time Classic!

Can i just point out that Mark Lewis had nothing to do with the production of this record.
@ Alex . "Talking with myself" was inspired by this record.

Has anyone ever noticed a certain similarity with "Talking With Myself" by Electribe 101, which came out the same year? Who sampled who? Would be keen to find out. Please give clues!
