Truly enchanting album. I can’t believe their first release
Was so mind blowing. The musical ambiance is next level. Truly in love with this pressing!

Hey Folks!
Just brought home this gem. Amazing sounding pressing and a worthy reissue of this beautiful album.
BUT. No one here has seemed to notice, that they missed the very first snare beat on the very first track on this cut. It starts right away with the bass figure - and having known this album for so long, with this one being the opener, I find it a little disappointing every time I put it on the ‘table. Same with the other vinyl editions? Any thoughts?
Cheers and best regards from Germany

Just absolutely perfect pressing. Clear sound and not even a single hair of dust stuck on the needle after the first full play through.
I get so mesmerized by their music, one of my favorite albums for sure!

Great sounding LP. There’s some surface noise throughout but comparing with my other media formats they all have it too so I don’t think it’s the fault of the vinyl.
Really good low end. Mids sound nice too.
This is a classic trip-hop/downtempo album that sounds great and is very affordably priced. Pick it up while you can!

A truly amazing album from start to finish. The press is perfect sounding, perfect weight and definitely something that should be in everyones collection, that enjoys ambient / background music.

Had both, Warner 2015 and also this 2018 remastered reissue.
After hearing couple of times both releases, I have sold 2015 Warner edition and left 2018 one for me as significantly better sounding version.
For my ears, in my rather top phono system, the newer 2018 version won over 2015 in all aspects.
More silent backround, much better, precise tighter bass, better 3D imaging, better makro and also micro dynamic, better mids, everything sounds better for me.
Naturally this might be too subjective review, but that’s exactly how I was feeling it.
Later I have purchased second copy to keep sealed as backup.

Fantastic pressing and a wonderful remastering job. As many times as I had listened to this I'm hearing stuff I haven't heard before. Great vinyl on an outstanding classic record. Kudos!

Just a semantics comment: Not a "repress", as someone entered for this entry. This 2018 version's matrices are totally different than the 2015 Warner (EU) version's. THAT one was cut at Abbey Road (making it a re-cut/reissue of the original 2001 issue), but not this one. So, "reissue" would be the proper term for the 2018 ish ; it's from the latest and third lacquer cutting.
Would someone please compare the sonics of these two reissues? I'm leaning toward the OOP, 2015 ish just for its gatefold sleeve, as opposed to this cheap, postcard stock, single sleeve. Is the former's now inflated price worth the trouble?
