Reviews
- Recently dug out this gem from my father's record collection. Definitely worth seeking out if you can get your hands on a copy, excellent pressing, chilled out beats and I enjoy every song which is rare for me.
- Edited 10 years agoThis is the 2nd album by this band. The first album was recorded in 1972 and released in early 1973 under the band name Ice and entitled either Ice in the USA or Each Man Makes His Destiny in Europe. This album was apparently released later in 1973. As for the music, the title cut is the weakest, having nothing new to offer over the original by Manu Dibango. The other compositions are mostly very strong Afro Jazz Rock which, at the time, was a brand new progressive fusion of musical styles. Worth seeking out.
