This is my least favorite Anthrax album but i still think it's a kick ass record. I just never liked Neil Turbin as a vocalist. I love Anthrax w/ Joey or John Bush. Also, don't care for Dan Nelson either. Thank God he never recorded an album w/ them. LOL. All in all...even the worst Anthrax album is amazing!!!

As I have got older, this is actually my favourite Anthrax album along with Among the Living. It is energetic and gets the adrenalin going. The riffs are metal, the drums pound and drive and Neil Turbin is probably more metal than Joe Belladonna, no offence meant, I think he is great too.
I've had three versions of this. The original MFN vinyl which was a mixed bag and was probably the worst LP I have owned for dynamic differences between the first and last tracks on each side of the vinyl. I can only think of Artillery's Terror Squad first press LP on Neat Records which is as bad.
The SPV Steamhammer version on double CD has a sound more like the original LP (without the diminishing dynamics) with the quieter guitars but has maybe had some bass added. I don't hear any popping noises on this one.
The third version is the Megaforce CD 2015? Which I think is basically the 1992 release looking at the CD.
This probably sounds the most dynamic with better clarity. The guitars are louder, and all instruments seem to have more room, although I think this is equalisation rather than remix. Whether it is actually more dynamic I don't know, it just sounds that way. However there is some strange popping background noises on this also reported by others. A remix of the album would be good if possible. I'm sure I read somewhere that Scott Ian would like to remix this too.

My copy is a 3 vinyl 10 inch set. All colored red. Fold out gate fold. I was told by the guy I bought it from that only 1000 copies were made. Anyone else own this? Any idea on the worth? It was a gift

The band logo on my copy is red, not pink. Also, it has FISTFUL OF METAL written in red at the very top of the back cover. Doesn't appear to be on the one pictured here.
