Jah9 – Feelings

This mini-album LP from Jah9 is an excellent release in my opinion! Very high quality musically, experimental and catchy, and I love the idea of releasing the instrumentals on the B-side (with a bonus track as well.) Unfortunately I have to agree that the vinyl pressing isn't perfect. While I disagree that it sounds bad, and find it sound great to my ears, I do have issues with the vinyl itself. My copy has a flaw where the music starts on nearly the very edge of the record, so if I drop the needle as per usual I miss the opening second or two. I can still place it manually on the edge of the record and hear it through properly but it's very nearly falling off the edge which is a bit concerning. Still very listenable and I very much enjoy the record, but it's definitely worth mentioning if this is a common problem. Otherwise it's worth having and a great album in my opinion!

Sound quality of this record is really terrible, typical for VP vinyl editions. Very disappointing.
